About this item
A 1930’s red bakelite champagne bucket. This was made in France for the Gay Mousse champagne company and the name is moulded in the bakelite and highlighted in gilt. The ice bucket has handles which are typical of the Art Deco style. There is a shallow chip to the foot rim but otherwise it is in very good condition.
Dimensions: Diameter 21.7cm. Width across the handles 24cm. Height 20cm.
