About this item
An exceedingly smart Art Deco English silver plated champagne wine bucket cooler by the great English silver makers Walker and Hall, Sheffield Circa 1920/30s. This excellent quality twin handled wine cooler is in excellent antique condition with no wear to the silver plating.
Walker & Hall was one of the excellent English silversmiths of the 19th Century, established in Sheffield in 1845. They enjoyed an enviable reputation in the hey-day of English silversmithing but eventually, in 1963, they were incorporated into Mappin & Webb continuing today as the brand Mappin & Webb.
