A Very Rare 19th Century Marble Top Inlaid Ormolu Mounted Antique Chest Of Drawers

A very rare 19th Century marble top kingwood and rosewood chest of neat proportions.  This gorgeous piece is of exceptional quality, finely hand carved, line inlaid and ormolu mounted throughout with beautifully rich patination and grain.  The stunning moulded, serpentine Rosso Levante marble top of rectangular form is raised over three graduated drawers with fabulous diamond pattern inlay detail and all with finely cast decorative ormolu swan neck handles and escutcheons.  The corners with applied foliate ormolu appointments, all raised above shaped, serpentine apron with further ormolu detail, terminating on elegant tapering, outswept leg with finely cast sabot foot.
