This is an antique gentleman's chest of drawers. An English, mahogany bedroom cabinet, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1800.
Delightfully appointed example of Georgian craftsmanship. Displaying a desirable aged patina throughout. Select mahogany shows fine grain interest beneath a wax polish finish. Deep caramel and russet hues an attractive appointment
Arranged as four, full width drawers with cockbeading to edges. Pierced batwing lock escutcheons with inset locks — keys absent. Each drawer further dressed with matching drop handles. Standing upon shaped ogee bracket feet to each corner.
This is a distinctive antique gentleman's chest of drawers, with superb colour to the mahogany stocks. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
