This is an antique gentleman's lowboy. An English, burr walnut chest of drawers, dating to the Georgian period and later, circa 1780.

Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Exquisite bookmatched burr walnut exudes grain interest
Light golden caramel hues radiate beneath a wax polish finish
Striking top quarter-bookmatched for visual splendour
Arranged as a suite of three drawers, each with inset brass-lined lock — key absent
Each drawer dressed with brass drop handles over pierced bat wing backplates
Raised upon prominent ogee bracket feet to each corner
This is an exemplary antique gentleman's lowboy, set to grace any room with its exuberance of grain interest and delightful colour. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
