A very fine 20th Century pair of marble top finely carved pair of side tables or chest of drawers of exceptional quality, ormolu mounted throughout and with well figured timbers comprising of kingwood and mahogany with gorgeously rich patination and grain.  The beautiful moulded, serpentine Carrara White marble top of rectangular form with canted corners is raised over two fabulous quarter veneered drawers with decorative ring pulls, set within a finely cast ormolu framed panel.  Flanked with fluted canted corners with applied flowerhead paterae motifs and further ormolu framed quarter veneered panel detail to the sides.  Raised above shaped apron and supported on elegant tapering fluted leg, terminating on decorative foliate cast sabot foot.
