About this item
A quality chest of drawers c1850/60 by esteemed furniture makers Gillows (Lancaster & London) .An arrangement of three short drawers over of three full length drawers all with original turned drawer knobs, locks and escutcheons. Raised on turned tapering legs. Gillows sourced and worked with the best materials avaliable from the 18th until the 20th Century. Examples of their renowed elegant furniture can be found in the Palace of Westminster, The Ritz Hotel London, Tatton Park House Cheshire and Clonbrock House Ireland.
Condition commensurate with age and use. Old restoration to one corner of the top, one drawer knob reglued. Please contact us for further images if desired.
