A stunning Victorian chest of drawers with one of the nicest Scumble finishes we've seen in a long time.
The lovely warm flowing textures of the paint work so well with the cream lining and knobs.
The size of the chest with its 5 drawers with perfect in 1850 and still hits the mark today.
This style of painted furniture was stripped quicker than the Amazon back in the 1960's and 70's so these pieces with original paint are now pretty hard to come by.
Good original condition with a fair amount on normal wear, scratches and marks. The structure is solid and this chest will easily last another 150 years. One knob has been replaced with the slightest of colour difference.
