About this item
A very handsome 18th century Commode from 'Skane' in Southern Sweden - simple in design so typical of 18th c furniture from this area. It has 3 good sized drawers with original brass handles and escutcheons. The original Caramel coloured painted finish with a black top and feet has been touched up more recently. Made of pitch pine - an excellent and authentic piece. Circa 1780
