About this item

19th Century Miniature Scotch Chest, Apprentice Piece

A very attractive piece, in the pictures you can see that this piece looks exactly like a Victorian Scotch chest of drawers, however this is a miniature version, made by an apprentice to prove that he had learned all the skills necessary to create a full size chest. This 5 drawer chest is made in very fine detail, it has wood turnings, inset escutcheons, cockbeaded drawers and ceramic knobs

The chest is in very good used condition with minor signs of use it is 19” wide, 15” high and 8.5” deep
