About this item
A 17th-century plank top oak chest with its original eye and bent pin hinges, original cleating to the underside of the ends of the lid ,
and semicircular chisel scoops to the ends of the lid. The front with a partial Bull nows partial remains of the bracket from the original hinge still retaining the original lock and retaining its original lock plate. The front carved with shallow stylised acanthus scrolls , all of a good original colour and held together with original nails
