English estate made original Scraped painted chest
Originally from an estate in the Cotswolds this well made chest with removable banded trays inside has many functions or can be used just for general storage .
Further scraping can be done ( we have left as was found )
Under the paint is a rich chestnut brown as shown on the underside of the lid
