About this item
A fine George 3rd large Irish silver ladle for serving soup or punch, made in Dublin by Alexander Richards in 1783, It has nice clear hallmarks and the letter I at the base of the handle this is an owners mark, at the top of the handle is an open hand , (The Hand Of Ulster). The hook end is very much an Irish thing although not unknown else were.
The ladle is heavy weighing 5.93 Troy Oz / 184.29 grams. it is 13" / 33cm long and a nice bowl size 3 1/2" / 9cm wide . Free delivery to Ireland and the UK
