About this item
A truly delightful French childs chair made from Walnut and dating from the latter part of the 18th Century. Louis XVI Circa 1770 so pre-French Revolution. Obviously made for a very wealthy client, it has perfect proportions following the lucid flowing lines of the style and fashions of the day. Structurally sound although it does show signs of minor restoration. No serious breaks. A rare little chair indeed. We can recover if so required.
