About this item
A very good example of a late 17thc joyned oak chair....it has a nicely shaped splat to the base of the back, well turned legs typical of this period....and the unusual feature of a centre stretcher....it has gained a superb colour with a good patina.... these collectable little chairs were used in convents and schools.
