    An Art Deco shaped green glass decanter designed by William Wilson for Whitefriars, Circa 1940s, with large blown body and stepped pedestal base, original air blown bubble glass stopper. 

    William J Wilson was a high profile artist who came to work as Head Designer at James Powell & Sons glassworks, known colloquially as Whitefriars Glass. His Modernist designs from the Mid 20th Century still look relevant today.
