About this item
A unique French 1920 /1930's Rattan Bistro Table.
Rattan furniture is similar to bamboo, but rattan is solid and bamboo is hollow.
This table has splendid features, decorative lacquered rattan binding and solid brass corner brackets, 6mm polished edged plate glass top and bentwood detailing.
The table originally had hessian covering to the two surfaces, however they were a little worn, and now removed and replaced with decorative marbleised quality paper.
The paper has been treated with a sealer which protects the surface from staining etc.
The table is in solid and in useable condition.
This is a beautiful French decorative antique table that has many uses in the home.
