Maud Elm Coffee Table

The Maud coffee table was cut from a large old trunk in China's Yunnan province around a hundred and twenty years ago, and it carries the full character of that timber in a single generous slab. The top runs with deep grain, knots and natural splits, its live edge following the shape of the tree, and it sits low on a simple base so nothing distracts from the wood. Softly weathered to a smooth grey over its long life, this vintage elm coffee table is a true one-off with no two ever quite alike.
