About this item
A lovely early Scottish Monart bowl, with greens and red / browns with a dusting of giltted gold. It has no chips or rubs dating from the 1920 - 30's. Monart glass was produced from around 1922 to 1961 on Perth Scotland. It was started by Salvador Ysart who was from Barcelona, Spain, where he had been a glassmaker. Although this is not a large piece, only being 6cm in height, it has lovely design which shines light through beautifully.
