About this item
A stylish studio glass vase, made in the post war period at the Ekenas glass factory in Sweden. It was designed by John Onwar Lake, artistic director at Ekenas between 1953 and 1976, and probably dates to the earlier part of his tenure. It is made of richly coloured olive green glass and is bulbous in shape, with a prunted trail round the rim. The base is signed 'Ekenas Sweden L936'.
