A striking vintage Murano vase, model Chambord, designed by Fratelli Toso, Italy Circa 1960s. Beautifully hand made, the glass was expertly pulled by the craftsman to create the unusual asymmetric rim and base. In perfect vintage condition.
Fratelli Toso is recognised as one of the oldest and most historically significant Murano glass factories, founded by six brothers in 1854. In the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, they adapted their complex, antique techniques into modern, geometric designs and bold, abstract shapes.
