About this item
A handsome early Victorian cast iron combination fireplace dating from the mid-19th century.
Beautifully proportioned, the fireplace features an elegant arched opening beneath a frieze decorated with crisp eight-pointed star motifs linked by geometric detailing. Delicate floral roundels, twisted rope mouldings and stylised foliate motifs combine to create a refined yet understated design, typical of the period.
The fireplace has been professionally restored and finished in traditional graphite black at our Hertfordshire warehouse, ready for installation.
