    A late 19th Century French kingwood, gilt metal and porcelain mounted Bonheur du jour, with quarter veneered panels in crossbanded surrounds, the upper part with a cavetto top, applied floral foliage and pierced three quarter gallery, enclosed by a pair of quarter veneer panel doors with applied Sevres style oval floral plaques, fitted with two small drawers below, the shaped apron drawer with further applied Sevres style plaques, having a rosewood plush inset writing slide, on cabriole legs, headed with cabochon foliate ornament, trailing to sabots.
