    About this item

A rare pair of early 19th century (circa 1810) Italian walnut console tables - ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:

This pair of tables consist of rectangular veined white marble tops, both in good condition, these supported on walnut bases.

The bases consist of a moulded edge leading down to a frieze with lower ebonised moulding with walnut mirror veneered panel to the centre with ebonised moulding and walnut banding.

This leads down to the superbly carved leopard mask monopodium supports with carved foliate decoration and paw feet, these supported on a shaped, concave platform base, the rear supports with ebonised mouldings, terminating on turned bun feet to the front with block feet to the back.

This pair of tables are in very good, original condition for age, are of stable construction and can go straight into a home.

Please note: the bronzes and marbles shown have been used for photographic purposes only and are not included in the price.
