    About this item

A fine example of an early copper pocket snuff box....it is beautifully engraved with the owners name A. Bruce, above a very worn date, 1800 and a crowned coat of arms, bordered by thistles....unusual to find an example in copper, they are more often made in brass....the hinge is in perfect working order and the box is in very good used condition.

    Possibly Scottish. C1800.
