    About this item

    A nineteenth century, English copper, oval jelly mould. This is marked with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams above the pattern number ’629’. To the opposite end is a workman’s mark in the shape of a fleur de lys. It is made from quite a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1880. The design consists of six plain columns with ornate tops . It is in very good condition but the tinning, to the interior, is worn.
