    About this item

A nineteenth century, French copper chocolate pot with a turned wooden handle. This is well made, from a substantial gauge of copper, and it has castellated seams. It dates from c.1880. There is a hole in the lid, through which you would put the chocolate stirrer, and this has a hinged cover for use when the stirrer is removed. The piece is in excellent condition and the tinning, to the interior, is still good enough for the pot to be used.

The stirrers were usually made from wood but we do have a Meissen style, porcelain example which fits the pot and is available as a separate item.

Dimensions: Height 20.5cm. Width including handle 21cm.  Diameter 11cm.

Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping top the U.S.A. add £25. Most of Western Europe add £10.
