About this item
A good quality, French copper saucepan and cover. The lid is stamped with a number ’18’ which relates to the diameter in centimetres but the pan is unmarked. The pan is made from a very heavy gauge of copper and there are the standard French form of steel handles to both the pan and lid. It dates from c.1880. There is slight pitting to the steel handles but otherwise it is in very good condition. The interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
Dimensions: Diameter of pan 16.7cm. Depth of pan 10cm. Overall length of pan and handle 35cm.
