About this item
A very attractive, Arts Nouveau, copper coal scuttle and scoop. This is made using castellated seams, it is English and it dates from c.1880. It has beautifully shaped, brass fittings and the scoop has a turned, ebonised handle. There is denting to the scuttle from use, which gives character to the piece, and otherwise it is in good condition.
Dimensions: Scuttle: Height 47.5cm. Length 45.5cm. Width 29cm. Scoop: Length 35cm. Width 14cm. Depth 7cm.
