About this item
A small French copper salmon kettle, cover and drainer. This is made from a very heavy gauge of copper and the copper has a planished finish. The handles, which are one of the typical French shapes, are cast in brass and attached with copper rivets. It dates from c.1920 and is in excellent condition. Although the interior hasn’t recently been re-tinned the tinning is still in very good, usable condition. This is an ideal size for everyday use as it isn’t too big. It could be used for a large trout or a small salmon
Dimensions: Length of pan 51.7cm. Width 15.8cm. Depth of pan 11.3cm. Overall length including the handles 58cm. Overall height including the handles 15.6cm.
