    About this item

A nineteenth century, French copper fish slice with an unusual monogram. The monogram is at the top of the handle and it shows two R’s back to back. These would have been the initials of a previous owner. The piece is made from quite a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1860. Originally it would have been tinned all over but the tinning has been removed to reveal the copper beneath. There are still slight traces of the tin to be seen in the monogram. It is in very good condition, with just very minor pitting to the slice, from use.

    Dimensions: Length 46.2cm. Width 10.4cm.

Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £25. Most of Western Europe add £12.
