    About this item

A nineteenth century, English copper straining spoon with an ebonised wooden handle. This is made from quite a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1880. The large, straining spoon is only half pierced and this was possibly used for staining curds. There is a small, steel loop in the end on the dark, ebonised handle so that the strainer can hang when not in use. It is in very good condition.

    Dimensions: Length 55.5cm. Width 12cm.

Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £30. Most of Western Europe add £15.
