    About this item

A nineteenth century, French copper pheasantiere. This style of pan was used for cooking game birds over an open fire or coals. This example dates from c.1860. It is well made, from quite a heavy gauge of copper, and it has wide castellated seams around the base and up the side. The steel fittings are all attached by copper rivets and they have a very rustic look. It is in very good condition. The tinning, to the interior, is dark but it could be used for storage.

Dimensions: Overall length including the handles 42cm. Width 21cm. Height 24cm.

Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £40. Most of Western Europe add £20
