About this item
A good quality, 19th century, French copper saucepan and cover. This is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1890. The lid is stamped with a number ’19’ which relates to the diameter is centimetres. This type of lid, which sits on top of the pan, can also be used on smaller pans. The pan and cover both have the typical form of French steel handle which is attached by large copper rivets. Both the pan and lid are in excellent condition and the interiors have been re-tinned so that it can be used.
Dimensions: Diameter of pan 18.4cm Depth of pan 8.8cm. Overall length of pan and handle 40cm.
