About this item
A good quality, 19th century, French copper preserve pan. This is made from a very heavy gauge of copper and the copper has a smooth finish. It has the typical, French shape of brass handles to either side and a rolled rim, and it dates from c.1880. There is a small dent to the base and a couple of very tiny dents to the rim, all from use. Otherwise it is in good condition.
Dimensions: Diameter 36cm. Height of pan 12.5cm. Overall width including the handles 45.4cm. Overall height including the handles 15.2cm.
