About this item
A nineteenth century, French copper, oval gratin dish. This is made from a substantial gauge of copper, it has folding brass ring handles to the ends, which are attached by heart shaped copper fittings, and it has a rolled rim. It dates from c.1890 and it is in very good condition. The interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
Dimensions: Length 29.5cm. Width 19cm. Depth 4.4cm.
