About this item
A large, 19th century, French copper stockpot. This is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper, and it dates from c.1870. It has castellated seams around the base and up the side, and it has attractive, brass handles to the side of the pot and also to the lid. There is slight denting to the lid but otherwise it is in good condition. Although it has not recently been re-tinned the tinning, to the interior, is still in usable condition.
Dimensions: Diameter of pot 30.2cm. Overall width including the handles 40cm. Height of pot 31.3cm. Overall height including the handle 34cm.
