    About this item

A large, 19th century, English copper preserve pan. This is marked, to the base, with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams. Benhams were one of the leading manufacturers of copperware in England in the 19th century. It has the typical English form of brass handles to either side and one of these is stamped with a number 16 which relates to the internal diameter of the pan in inches. It is well made, from a very heavy gauge of copper, and it dates from c.1880. It is in excellent condition.

Dimensions: Diameter of pan 42.8cm. Depth of pan 13.5cm. Total width across the handles 53.5cm. Total height including the handles 18.5cm.

Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £50. Most of Western Europe add £30
