    About this item

    A good quality, large, Victorian copper kettle. The handle fittings, the finial and the rim of the kettle are made from brass and both of the handle fittings are stamped “W N S”. This could be the mark of William Newman & Sons, an architectural brass founders from Birmingham. The kettle is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper, and it has castellated seams. It dates from c.1860.

    It is in excellent condition and it could still be used.

    Dimensions: Height 35.2cm. Width 35cm. Diameter 24.5cm.
