About this item
A small sized, but deep, French copper egg bowl. Due to the unusual shape of this type of egg bowl, they are known, in France, as a “Cul de Poule”. This translates as “Chicken’s Ass”. This is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1860. It is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Diameter 26.8cm. Depth 20cm.
