About this item
A pewter ice cream mould in the shape of a spear of asparagus. This would turn out a very naturalistic, life size spear of asparagus. It is marked “LETANG FILS PARIS RUE VIELLE DU TEMPLE”, on the inside of the hinge, and it dates from c.1880. The exterior is marked, in the casting with “LG” and the pattern number “1960”. It is in good condition and could still be used. The interior is quite bright and the exterior has a dark patina.
Dimensions: Length 20.6cm. Width (across the hinge) 4.5cm. Diameter 2.7cm.
