About this item
A very small, English copper saucepan with a pouring spout and a wooden handle. This would originally have had a lid. This shape of pan is often referred to as a brandy pan but, in Benham’s catalogues from the 19th century, they were simply listed as saucepans. This one has castellated seams and the handle is turned from a very dark wood. The tinning is very worn and the base is no longer flat so now, it is purely decorative.
English Date c.1860.
Dimensions: Length 21cm. Diameter of pan 9.5cm. Height of pan 6.5cm.
Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £20. Western Europe add £10.
