About this item
A Victorian copper chocolate or coffee pot with a turned wooden handle. This is made from a substantial gauge of copper and it has a castellated seam up the side. It is English and dates from c.1860. The turned wooden handle has an ebonised finish and there is a brass, acorn shaped final to the lid.
It is in very good condition and although the interior has not been re-tinned, it is still good enough for the piece to be used.
It measures 28cm. high by 34cm wide including the wooden handle, and 19.5cm. from the tip of the spout to the edge of the base. The diameter at the base is 14.5cm.
