About this item
A great look to this rare early Irish (possibly 17th century) piece of folk art furniture. A primitive chair fashioned from the trunk of a walnut tree and decorated with a fern on the back rest. Small in size but big in decorative appeal this chair has a unqiue charm and would be a rare addition to the period home, collector or discerning decorator.
Condition commensurate with age and use.A narrow seat board replaced at some point in its history and some loss/wear to one arm corner.
