    About this item

    original   copper antique cake mould. Made of pressed /beaten copper and tin-lined interior, This large round mould was for baking cakes and puddings such as Savarin/Rum Baba/ Bundt or Brioche . Now they tend to be wall hangings and are best displayed with the original patina rather than polishing every few weeks. This  one  is earlier mid nineteenth century with a much heavier gauge copper and dulled old tin. Original hanging ring is present plus plenty of dust and empty spiders webs as been on a farm wall since the 1960's
