Antique 17th Century Welsh Oak Cwpwrdd Deuddarn

A neatly proportioned 17th century antique Welsh oak cwpwrdd deuddarn (two part cupboard) or Welsh deuddarn cupboard with unusual decorative inlaid detail throughout. Having suspended turned finials, two small cupboard doors to the top section with central blind panel. The base has two large blind panel cupboard doors with single fitted shelf to the interior. Raised on simple stile feet. A particularly charming piece of early Welsh country furniture with unusual inlaid detail. Of small proportions.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good, early antique condition throughout with various signs of age and wear. General surface wear in places including some age-related marks, but overall, good. Structurally solid and sound. Evidence of historic wood worm in various places throughout this is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. Some honest, historic repairs in places. A wonderful example with character and charm in abundance.

Please note, the courier service is to the external doorstep, the courier will also deliver on their own so you will need to arrange for someone to help your end.

Delivery Exemptions: We do not deliver to areas outside of mainland UK (i.e Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and Scilly Isles).

International & European: We do not currently ship outside of mainland UK.

Collection: Our shop is based in the village of Penderyn, South Wales, CF44 0TJ.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
