This is an antique corner cupboard. An English, oak bow front hanging cabinet dating to the Georgian period of the 18th Century. A splendid Georgian cabinet. Displays a desirable aged patina. Striking book-matched oak shows fine grain interest. Rich, russet hues to the wax polish finish.
Unusual dentil cornice sets off the ensemble. Quality, burr oak cabinet doors with eye-catching figuring. Doors dressed with pierced brass escutcheons in classical style. Working lock complete with key. Opening with a smooth action on a trio of butterfly external hinges.
A suite of four shelves sit above three small drawers. Drawers dressed with small brass pulls. Standing upon a tiered plinth. Supplied with brackets for ease of mounting.
This antique corner cupboard is of fine aesthetic and period appeal, with high quality oak stocks and wonderful craftsmanship. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
