A Geo IV mahogany linen cupboard by William Wilkinson, Ludgate Hill, London C1825. The usual quality associated with this highly respected cabinet maker . The trays are cedar and the four panel back is mahogany .
William Wilkinson set up his business in 1808 at 14 Ludgate Hill. His first pieces were stamped Wilkinson Ludgate Hill. In 1825 he brought his 3 sons into the business and the stamp changed to Wilkinson and Sons.
