About this item
A large mid Victorian pine chest of drawers. 2 small drawers at the top, 3 below, each with original small wooden knobs. All drawers are running smoothly, and the whole piece in very good condition for its age. Panelled sides, and sitting on very attractive feet.
Difficult to place its origin, but my guess would be the north of England, or maybe possibly Scotland, as it seems to have Scottish influences (the extra space above the top drawers). Also quite rare to find panelled sides on a typical Victorian chest of drawers.
Currently in bare wood. Can be purchased as it is for £630, or £697 if you’d like it waxed for you.
