New Hall porcelain Bute-shape teacup and saucer with simple loop handle, painted with a blue band, edged in gold and underlying a gilt scroll pattern, below which is a line of alternating gilt dots and crosses. Unmarked but identified as pattern no. 554. (c.1800)
Measurements: Cup height 5.7 cms, diameter 8.3 cms and length (inc. handle) 10.5 cms; saucer diameter 13.8 cms.
Condition: Good. No chips, cracks or other damage and no restoration. Gilding generally good but slight wear to the line of dots and crosses on the saucer.
